Celebrate Broom Time in Bromley – Saturday 11th May!

Bromley is named after the little yellow broom flower – it grew in profusion in the fields – and the town held a festival every year. This year, we will celebrate it, in the central Atrium of the Glades:

  • Have a sprig of broom to wear
  • our new Exhibition, with special panel on Broom flower
  • guided walks to Martins Hill where the broom can still be found
  • Activities for Children – make a Broom King or Queen crown and have your photo taken!
